This Steak Au Poivre is Kolikof's version of one of my favorite dishes in New York. Our Dinner for 4 comes with 4 savoury New York Steaks, our Echire French Butter, Sea Salt Flakes, Creme Fraiche, and the star of the recipe the Kampot Peppercorns.
The Dinner for 4 Comes with:
- 4 NY Steaks:
- 2 Olive Wagyu NY Strip Sirloin Steaks (8oz) &
- 2 Australian Wagyu BMS 8-9 NY Strip Steaks (10oz.)
- Echire AOC French Salted Butter
- Sea Salt Flakes
- Kampot Peppercorns
- Creme Fraiche
Our Recipe:
- Season steaks well, on both sides, with sea salt. Lay peppercorns on flat surface and press each side of steaks to layer the steaks.

Heat Au Poivre sauce on low/medium heat.

Heat saute pan to medium, add 1 oz oil of your choice and place steaks in pan with 1 oz of butter
- Cook 3 minutes on each side for Medium/Rare
- Plate the steaks and pour sauce over steaks
- Serve with your choice of side dish. (we really love french fries!)
