Parmigiano-Reggiano Pasta


  • 1 lb. pasta (such as penne or spaghetti)
  • 1 cup grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or basil for garnish


  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente.
